The Family Network Group (FNG)
The Aim of The Family Network Group (FNG) is to provide educational and emotional support to families who have a child/children with a hearing loss in a relaxed setting, and to provide opportunities for families to connect and spend time with each other and learn from each other.
The Foundation recognises that the best mentors for families are other families with a similar journey.
Each school Term, FNG run a variety of activities which include morning teas or evening events with guest speakers to talk about relevant services in the community or people sharing their personal journey. FNG also run social events for the whole family as well as fun educational workshops for children with hearing loss and their siblings.
To join FNG simply contact the Community Engagement Coordinator at Rozl@wafdc.org.au or phone/text 0423 646 741 and you will be sent a registration form to complete. Once this form is received your information will be stored on our free confidential database and you will be kept up to date about our activities directly.
